Reference Manual for the 'info' Command
The info command, similar to man, serves as an online documentation system. Personally, it's believed that the explanations provided by info are more user-friendly. The usage of the info command is as follows:
Upon entering the info interface, basic operations are as follows:
- Navigation:
Once inside an info document, you can use the keyboard arrow keys ← / → / ↑ / ↓ :to move the cursor for scrolling. You can use the Tab key to switch between different nodes. When the cursor is positioned over a link, pressing the Enter key allows you to access the content of that link.
- Exiting info:
To exit the info' interface, simply press the q key.
- Searching:
Within the info interface, pressing the / key activates the search function. Input the keyword you want to search for, and then press the Enter key.info will display all matching items containing that keyword.
- Specific Nodes:
Some documents might consist of multiple nodes, each representing different sections of the topic. You can use the g key to go to the beginning node of the document or use numeric keys to jump to specific nodes.
